Stella needs to be thankful for her father who gave her this wonderful life. She wouldn't be here if it weren't for him and that would just be a tragedy in itself. Seriously, she needs him. She needs him baaaaaddd...
#1- Stella needs her father to play an active role in her life.
#2- Stella needs her father to call her on her shit and make her aware of the consequences of misbehavior.
#3- Stella needs her father to teach her to do what's right, try her best and show respect.
#4- Stella needs her father to tell her she's beautiful (even if she looks hideous!).
#5- Stella needs her fathers love and acceptance.
ps. this is for you daddy...
Check it. Get some fatherly love. Do it.

Stella is happy hour every night of the week...
It's 5pm somewhere and Stella needs a cocktail. That's right...she needs to go to happy hour. "But it's only Wednesday", oh pish posh. If Stella is feelin' the need to have a cocktail on a random night she's certainly allowed. As long as she works hard, she can play hard (the day don't matta)...
Monday - Stella needs to go to happy hour because she's had a slight case of the Moooonndaaays and a cocktail would really help her prepare for the rest of the week.
Tuesday - Stella needs to go to happy hour because American Idol isn't on and she doesn't know what to do with herself.
Wednesday - Stella needs to to go to happy hour to celebrate the fact that she's made it more than 1/2 way through the week (nice work lady).
Thursday - Stella needs to go to happy hour because she feels like gettin' the weekend started early (why the f not?)
Friday - Stella needs to go to happy hour because "it's Friday and she ain't got no job, and she ain't got shit to do" (so check it).
Saturday - Stella needs to host happy hour at her place w/ great friends, groovy music, and fretzas! galore.
Sunday - Stella needs to go to happy hour to watch "the game" w/ Man (duh).
Check it. Go to happy hour. Do it.

Stella is things you do that really piss me off...
Stella's not about the drama. In fact, she'll do whatever she can to avoid it. She's not a fan of a lil thing called confrontation, which can lead her to be a lil passive-aggressive at times, especially when it comes to Man (oops) - this is not ok! Stella needn't stay quiet when Man really pisses her off! Seriously, it will only cause things to get all bottled up until one day she just explooooodes! And then he'll think she's crazy (when that's only slightly the case). Stella has her pet-peeves just like everyone else and has every right to express them. However, she needs to leave the crazy out of the equation and learn to express her feelin's in a non passive-aggressive way. That's right...Stella needs figure out the best possible way to tell Man that things are just not cool right now. She needs things you do that really piss me off (from knockknock.com)...
It's just sometimes Man really doesn't necessarily need to hear the negative straight from Stella's mouth (it could go terribly wrong). So what better way for her to express her feelin's than a straight up non-confrontational check list of the things Man does that really piss her off. It's the perfect not-so-passive passive aggressive way of gettin' it out (baby steps). Man could easily consider it a joke (but is it reeeaaallly?) You never know, he could secretly take her slightly seriously and not do the things that really piss her off (imagine that). After all, comedy is just a funny way of bein' serious, right? right!
Check it. Piss me off. Do it.

Stella is grocery shoppin' eco-friendly style...
Stella goes grocery shoppin' a lot because she likes to cook and you know...a lady's gotta eat (w/ or without Man). And whether she's cookin' for 1, 2 or all her pretty ladies, she's not about to collect a bunch of paper bags when she doesn't need to (duh). However, she also needn't purchase an eco grocery bag from a specific grocery stored if she doesn't need to (yikes). It's just she's not exactly the most loyal customer. Seriously, she loves many different stores for many different reasons so why play favorites really? Anyway, Stella's lack of commitment just means she needs to purchase some labeless eco reuseable grocery bags (say it again). That's right...she needs the Green As Can Be BOLD & BRIGHT Gift Set...
Green As Can Be BOLD & BRIGHT Gift Set (from Delight.com) is the perfect start gift to motivate Stella to be more eco efficient when grocery shoppin'. So...it's a lil pricey ($50) but it comes w/ 3 super cute patterned reuseable bags, 2 reuseable produce bags, and a SIGG water bottle which by the way is the latest and greatest in water bottle 'technology' (even though it's been around 100 years). For real though, it's like the most fashionable yet useful gift for a pretty lady in need, because again...a lady's gotta eat!
ps. bags can be purchased separately
Check it. Go Green As Can Be. Do it.

Stella is all about her Sperry Top-Siders...
Stella never hesitates to add a lil preppy to her classic yet eclectic style. She loves anything crisp white, navy, plaid or pleated, and will use any excuse to dress like totally nautical, especially when she's sailin'. You know, because she goes sailin' all the time w/ her yacht folk. Ok, not reaaaaaaallly (she doesn't know any yacht folk) but she does go boatin'...like a lot. Ok, it was just this one time, and it was more like a booze cruise really. Anyway, word to the wise...boatin' + boozin' + 3 inch heels = a walkin' disaster.
That's right...Stella learned her lesson and will never wear heels on a boat again! Well, unless it's like a huge yacht where there's a ramp to get on and off from, and the chances of her fallin' or gettin' wet are pretty slim...because then maybe she needs to wear a cute lil navy party dress, gold jewelry, white or gold heels that make her legs look amaaaazing, and perhaps a lil sailor hat (what? she needs to dress the part). Ok, back to the point (boat + booze + heels = disaster)...Stella needs a casual yet styin' shoe she can wear sailin' (or booze cruisin'). She needs a spicy pair of Sperry Top-Siders...
She needs the Women's Authentic Original 2-Eye Patent for some extra perennial spice (they come in white too)...
She needs the Women's Plaid Bahama (no relation to Tommy)...
Sperry Top-Siders are Stella's favorite preppy shoe in her casual shoe selection. Created in 1935, the Authentic Original is the blueprint for the American boat shoe, and the cornerstone of classic Nautical style. Stella can wear them for everyday or if she's ever cruisin' in the Land of Wasp (Nantucket and The Hamptons) she'll have the perfect shoe for when newly friended folk invite her to go sailin' (because they will invite her to go sailin'). Seriously, Sperry Top-Siders are a solid investment - they're reasonably priced ($50) and they'll never go out of style (pretty groovy huh).
ps. Man needs a pair stat!
pps. order online and get a free mini tote w/ purchase of Women's New Arrival (sometimes it sucks to be Man)
Check it. Sperry Top-Sider it. Do it.

Stella is whitenin' on the go...
Stella obviously loves her coffee and red wine which is precisely why she needs her Brush-ups. However, Brush-ups only temporarily fix her temporarily stained teeth (seriously, it's only temporary) - this is not ok! Stella needs to have polished lookin' teeth for her beautiful smile! She could do the whole bleach tray thing but that takes a lot of time and money that she doesn't have! That's it...Stella needs a whitenin' system that's cheap, consistent and convenient. She needs listerine's whitening quick-dissolving strips...
Stella's all about whitenin' on the go and listerine's whitening quick-dissolve strips are the perfect handy vanity dental tool for her to keep in her purse. Seriously, she needn't leave home without them - they're friggin' amaaaazing! She can use them when she's day dreamin', drivin', layin' out at the beach, surfin' the web, or on hold w/ a customer service agent - the possibilities for multi-taskin' are endless really. They're super easy to use because they actually dissolve in her mouth so she doesn't have to deal with the goo crap that crest whitening strips usually leave her with (yay! no post-brushin'). That's right...these works of wonder leave Stella with polished teeth and minty fresh breathe in no time.
Check it. Whiten on the go. Do it.

Stella is Nam Myoho Renge Kyo...
Stella was browsin' the sale room at Anthropologie today when this random gypsy lookin' lady comes up and starts talkin' her ear off sayin' she could tell Stella's not that happy right now blah blah. Then the gypsy lookin' lady reaches into her pocket and hands Stella a beat up card that reads:
NAM MYOHO RENGE KYO
THE ULTIMATE TEACHING THAT LEADS TO ENLIGHTENMENT THROUGH THE LAW OF CAUSE AND EFFECT CHANT THIS PHRASE TO OVERCOME PROBLEMS FULFILL DESIRES AND BECOME HAPPY
WORLD PEACE BEGINS WITH YOU
Random, right? Not so much. Stella's been searchin' for some guidance lately and this lady gave her just what she needs - a mantra. That's right...call it the law of cause and effect, whatever. She just needs to chant NAM MYOHO RENGE KYHO to herself as often as possible and pray for somethin' good to go down. However, she needn't comprehend what the phrase actually means, let's not get ahead of ourselves - it's a lil complicated. Oh whatever, just click here if you're into it.
Check it. Nam Myoho Renge Kyo it. Do it.

Stella is facebook in reality...
It's no secret Stella spends way too much time on facebook. It's the perfect utility for her to keep in contact w/ people she likes (mostly) but doesn't necessarily care enough about to call, get to know, hang out w/ etc. Maybe she can play some games or send someone a virtual cucumber wedge (wouldn't it be nice). Or she can reconnect w/ old friends from high school, hell even elementary school (kinda scary). And now her boss, co-workers, and pretty much everyone else in her real world 'social network' are on it. Stella's more popular than ever! But if she thinks about it really...what is social about the internet? Seriously, she sits alone at her computer and communicates electronically - it's like the most anti-social thing ever! And Lord knows what she's wearin' (or not wearin'). Stella would sooooo much rather chill w/ someone in person...
And again, what's w/ the virtual poking business? If someone did that in real life (haha 'real life'), Stella would be like 'seriously, did you really just do that? - don't, you're weird'. Socializin' is all about real world interaction and it can't be represented if there's a giant firewall in the way. There are many things on facebook that simply exist for the sake of existing and would not work in real life (haha 'real life'). That's it...Stella needs to think about how anti-social and unrealistic facebook is. She needs to think about facebook in reality...
Check it. Back to reality. Do it.

Stella is drinkin' San Pellegrino...
Water is a fundamental part of our lives and it's easy to forget how much we completely depend on it. Second to oxygen, water is an essential need for life. Stella needs to drink at last 8 glasses a day (10 to be safe). But lets be honest, plain water can get a lil boring so she needs to spice it up a bit (give it some gas). That's right...she needs to drink sparkling water. She needs to drink San Pellegrino...
Sparkling water is basically carbonated water, which also happens to be the defining component in fountain drinks (and a negligible cause of dental erosion). But whatever...as along as Stella cuts out the diet coke, she and her sparkling water will be just fine and dandy. Plus, it's sooooo fun to drink in a wine glass when she's on the wagon, and she can always add a lil lemon or lime for some extra fruity spice (and to disguise as a cocktail).
Check it. San Pellegrino it. Do it.

Stella is playin' Cornhole...
Stella is thinkin' of throwin' a summer bash and needs the perfect outdoor game for her guests to play. She's thinkin' she needs a game somewhat similar to horseshoes. A game that's easy to set up, simple to play, and doesn't center around booze. Sadly, we're grown ups now and not everyone wants to play a game to get waaaaaasted anymore (sigh). That's it...Stella needs to play Cornhole...
Cornhole is an insanely popular tailgatin' game in the Midwest and Stella's feelin' the need to bring it to LaLa. The game is as simple as it looks really...players take turns pitchin' small bags filled with corn (so Indiana) at a raised platform with a hole in the far end. A corn bag in the hole scores 3 points, while one on the platform scores 1 point. Play continues until a player reaches the score of 21. Click here for the official rules.
It's the perfect backyard fun game for a pretty lady who's a lil too tipsy to get all sporty and think about rules. Seriously, what better way to get to know Man than to flirt over Cornhole and spritzers? Besides, Man will probably get so into it he'll need another game and spritzer stat (yay! more time to flirt). Then he'll start lookin' up all the Cornhole terminology on his blackberry and contemplate joinin' the American Cornhole Organization (don't deny it). Seriously, it's addictive. However, if it gets to this point Stella might need to have a slight intervention (not that it's not cool but like chill for a sec). That's right...party's over and Man needs to get his own Cornhole (you know, unless he wants to make-out).
ps. keep the bags in plastic containers so the rats don't get to them (for reals)
Check it. Play Corn Hole. Do it.

Stella is huggin' it out...
Stella's been total Deb D lately and it's soooo not cool. The job anxiety and lack of Man is really startin' to get to her. She's starvin' for her next big opportunity and she's completely alone in the process - it's like hooollllloooowwww! But that's all part of goin' through the quarterlife crisis, right? Sure, reality can be a painful and lonely experience, but sometimes all you really need is a hug to make it all better. That's right...Stella needs to hug it out...
#1 - Stella needs a hug to create a connection w/ someone that her words cannot express (believe it or not).
#2 - Stella needs a hug to lift her spirits and make her smile (that and some wine).
#3 - Stella needs a hug to share both the good and the bad times (and more wine).
#4 - Stella needs a hug to feel love and compassion (no half-ass hugs allowed).
#5 - Stella needs a hug to make the happy days happier and the impossible days possible (word).
Never underestimate the power of a hug. Seriously, don't...
ps. it's universal and free!
Check it. Hug it out. Do it.
